Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby could be playing elsewhere at some point in his career.That鈥檚 a thought floated by former NHL enforcer and motivational speaker Georges Laraque in a social media post published on June 27.Laraque dropped his comments on X, kicking fan reaction into high gear. I can’t control that. I don’t know where that comes from. I don’t think that it’s something I’m going to discuss every time someone speculates something. The extension will keep Crosby in Pittsburgh till 2027. At that point, Crosby will decide if he will continue playing or head into retirement.In the meantime, there鈥檚 no reason to believe the Pittsburgh Penguins have Crosby on the trade block.
