Spokesperson for Phalombe Police,Jimmy Kapanja, has confirmed the arrest and identified the three as Laston Chisama (35), Aubrey Makawa (29), and James Eliya (47) all from Traditional Authority Mkhumba鈥檚 area in the district.
Kapanja said the three were apprehended after being found with various pesticides, including Canine Plus, Chem Clone, Skana, Lambda, Dimethoate, Copper Oxychloride, Shumba See Plus, and Ethophon, among others.
鈥淭he suspects failed to produce any certified documentation from relevant authorities permitting them to sell the chemicals,鈥 said Kapanja.
