A man who was killed in a motorbike crash in Aberdeenshire last weekend has been named by police as Graeme Noble. The 59-year-old from Arbroath was riding along the B966 Fettercairn to Edzell road when the collision occurred at Cairnton of Balbegno at 6.10pm on Saturday, June 21. Emergency services were in attendance, but he was tragically pronounced dead at the scene. No other vehicles were involved. The road was closed afterwards, and later reopened at around 12.10am on Sunday, June 22. A police investigation into the incident is still ongoing, and officers are appealing for anybody with information or dash-cam footage to come forward. His family paid tribute, saying: 鈥淕raeme was a loving husband and amazing dad to his daughter and a great friend. He loved his family completely. 鈥淗e had been a lover of motorbikes since a young boy and was lucky enough to die doing what he loved.鈥 Sergeant Dave Cooper said: 鈥淥ur thoughts are with Graeme鈥檚 family and our enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances . 鈥淲e continue to appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and may have seen what happened or have dash-cam footage that could help.鈥 Anyone who can assist is asked to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3053 of Saturday, 21 June, 2025.
