London鈥檚 Stansted Airport Unveils New Brand Identity

London Stansted Airport has unveiled a new brand identity as it continues to welcome record-breaking passenger numbers and progresses plans to increase capacity and transform the airport experience.

The new brand takes its inspiration from London Stansted鈥檚 iconic Norman Foster-designed terminal, with the building鈥檚 distinctive roof structure reflected in the refreshed logo. The next phase of Stansted鈥檚 growth will see the terminal extended to offer more space and places to eat, drink and relax while retaining its natural light and airy feel.

The new look-and-feel launch follows on from the recent submission of a planning application to increase the airport鈥檚 annual passenger limit up to 51 million over the next 20 years, which aims to connect more people to more destinations and unlock more possibilities as the airport of choice for London and the East of England.

It will be rolled out in the coming weeks and will feature on staff uniforms, on social media channels, the Stansted website and all public facing materials. The underlying concept is based on Stansted offering more possibilities to all passengers, airlines, colleagues and communities surrounding it, due to the way it uniquely combines great choice, value and an easy and efficient operation.

This year will also see the airport celebrate a number of key landmarks, including passing the 30 million passenger a year milestone. This is in addition to the successful opening of a new domestic reclaim building and the start of enabling work for its on-site solar farm, the first of its kind at a London airport.

The airport鈥檚 route network serves around 200 destinations across Europe and beyond and continues to grow as airlines add more routes and capacity to popular destinations, with Royal Air Maroc the latest airline to join London Stansted as its launch鈥檚 flights to Casablanca in Morocco.
