Damascus, SANA- The competitions of the Kids and Adolescents Programming Marathon (KPM) continued with the participation of some 881 students from various provinces in Syria.
This event was organized by the Excellence and Creativity Commission (ECSS) and the Syrian Virtual University (SVU).
The Director of the Syrian Science Olympiad at the Excellence and Creativity Authority, Dania Qabbani, said that these tests represent the first opportunity for students wishing to join the world of programming, where the journey of constructive competition begins, skills develop, and passion for science and knowledge is refined. She pointed out that today鈥檚 participants are from the youth category, between the ages of 12 and 15 years.
The second phase of the marathon will be a self-paced remote training phase via the official YouTube channel for the programming marathon for children and adolescents. This will be followed by a qualifying test phase for each category separately at governorate centers during the coming month of August and will conclude with the final qualifying phase during the coming month of October.
