George Clooney film critics hate but fans love available to watch for free soon

Here’s some exciting news for George Clooney fans: the film he directed and produced, The Monuments Men, will soon be available to watch for free. This historical war film stars an all-star cast, including Matt Damon, Bill Murray, and John Goodman, and is based on Robert M. Edsel and Bret Witter’s 2007 non-fiction book, The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History. Although the movie received mixed reviews, it follows an important story about an Allied group from the Monuments, Fine Arts, and Archives program tasked with rescuing culturally significant items from the Nazis. Despite a worldwide box office gross of $156.4 million, the film earned a meager 30% approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Critics found it to be overly nostalgic and lacking in narrative drive. However, audiences at home disagreed with the critics. On Google Reviews, Arshi Hayat commented: “I don’t know why people did not like this movie. “I found this movie in the worst movie list of George Clooney but still I watched it because it had also Hugh Bonneville.” “The movie has everything, it has emotions, comic and romantic element, sense of pride and friendship, and leadership. “The background music is also not dull and boring. The movie is not slow as generally happens with this kind of movie. There is not excessive violence and scenes of too much wounded soldier. “Historically, there may be some lacking but it still gives a lot information about a different perspective that was to ‘save art’ in the middle of events when young men were losing their lives. “If you love to watch period movies, you should watch without seeing other reviews. It has many things to tell you about history.” [Sic] The film, airing on BBC Four on June 28, is inspired by real events, although character names and some facts have been altered for dramatic purposes. Anne Vogt added: “I don’t care what the critics say, I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. A different view of WW2 with purpose and great emotion. “This movie shows the unnamed and their sacrifices along with the men assigned to a task that we all now benefit from. “This movie made me proud to be an American. I thank them now for the beautiful art they rescued and now I realize all the passion and sacrifices that made it happen.” The Monuments Men will air on BBC Four on June 28 at 10pm
