More than 200,000 music lovers are currently gathered in Somerset to see their favourite artists perform on one of the famous Glastonbury stages. Over the next three days of music, more than 3,000 performers are set to take to the 100 stages and venues at Worthy Farm, including Olivia Rodrigo, Rod Stewart, RAYE, Noah Kahan, The Script, Kaiser Chiefs and more iconic names. As the festival gets underway today, Friday, June 27, the likes of Supergrass, The 1975, Alanis Morissette, Blossoms, Lola Young, Gracie Abrams and Paris Paloma be kicking the festival off with a bang. Rock band Wet Leg are set to perform on the Other Stage this afternoon, marking their second appearance at Glastonbury. The band, from the Isle of Wight, first played the festival in 2022 after the release of their self-titled debut album. Performing to a packed out crowd at Glastonbury’s Park Stage, the band performed hits from the critically-acclaimed album, including lead single and viral hit Chaise Longue, which has racked up millions of video streams. The band have since taken the festival scene by storming proving a hit with fans across the globe. During a performance at Coachella in April 2023, the band were joined on stage by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, another friend of Glastonbury, who joined them to perform Ur Mum. Wet Leg are now back with their highly-anticipated second album, called Moisturizer, which features their new song ‘catch these fists’. With the new release set to be out on July 11, fans catching them at Glastonbury are likely to get a taster of what to expect on the new album.
