Glastonbury Festival is back for another year as thousands head to Worthy Farm for the UK’s biggest music festival. It will bring three days of iconic music from June 25 to June 29, with 200,000 festival goers set to attend the annual festival in Somerset and more than 3,000 acts set to perform across 100 stages and venues. At the 2025 festival, music lovers will be treated to headline sets from The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo on the Pyramid Stage, while other acts performing over the weekend include Rod Stewart, Charli XCX, Loyle Carner, Biffy Clyro, Lola Young and many more. The official line up begins today (June 27), as English rock band Supergrass opens up the Pyramid Stage at 12pm, and Fabio & Grooverider and the Outlook Orchestra kicks off events over at the Other Stage at 11:30am. English Teacher will also perform on the beloved Park Stage today. The Leeds-formed indie rock band consists of vocalist Lily Fontaine, guitarist Lewis Whiting, drummer Douglas Frost, and bassist Nicholas Eden. They played their first gig as English Teacher in 2020 and won the 2024 Mercury Prize for their debut album ‘This Could Be Texas’. The group last played Glastonbury in 2022, winning a slot via the Emerging Talent Competition and performing on the John Peel Stage, where they played tracks from their EP ‘Polyawkward’. English Teacher is set to appear on the Park Stage at 4.30pm until 5.30pm on Friday, June 27. They are performing after singer Faye Webster and before rock band Osees. English Teacher performed at BBC Radio 6 Music Festival at O2 Victoria Warehouse in March this year, where they played 10 songs. The setlist of 10 songs has been shared online by Setlist.fm. When English Teacher is on the Park Stage – 4.30pm until 5.30pm – the other four main stages will host: BBC Four will be showing Glastonbury performances by English Teacher and Wet Leg from 7pm on Friday, June 27. Those at home can also watch highlights from the five main stages on the BBC iPlayer, as well as on BBC One and Two, across the weekend. The BBC iPlayer will also be showing continuous live streams from the Pyramid, Other, West Holts, Park and Woodsies stages during the weekend.
