JSW MG Motor India has announced a price hike across its model lineup from July 1. The company said in an official communication that it will be increasing the prices across its model lineup by 1.5%. MG Motor did not comment on the exact price increase for its models sold in India. However, the company did issue a clarification on why it is increasing the prices across its model lineup. Also Read: Mahindra鈥檚 New Multi-Powertrain Vehicle Platform To Debut On August 15 According to MG Motors, the reason for the upcoming price hike is ‘rising input costs and macroeconomic pressures.’ This hike comes on the heels of a recent discount of Rs 4.44 lakh that the company announced on the ZS EV. The current lineup of cars includes the ZS EV, Gloster, Astor, Comet, Hector, and Windsor. Out of these three, the Gloster, Astor, and Hector are internal combustion engine models, while the other are EVs.
