Apemin Tu葯nad recorded a turnover of 23.6 million euros, up 22 percent in 2024

Apemin Tu葯nad, a Romanian natural mineral water producer, ended 2024 with a 22 percent increase in turnover, compared to the previous year, reaching 23.6 million euros. The company鈥檚 evolution exceeded the market average, across all distribution channels, and the trend continues in 2025 鈥 the first three months brought an increase of 16 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

All three brands in the Apemin Tu葯nad portfolio 鈥 Tu葯nad, Artesia and Izvorul Ascuns 鈥 had positive developments in 2024. The company鈥檚 performance was due to strategic investments in the operational area, the consolidation of the sales team and the expansion of the portfolio of sales channels at the national level 鈥 modern, traditional retail and e-Commerce. Apemin Tu葯nad鈥檚 investment budget increased by 112 percent in 2024.

Investments in the operational area aimed at expanding storage capacity up to 7,350 sqm and reconfiguring the access infrastructure for trucks, facilitating logistics flows. In parallel, the company modernized production equipment, aligning with the latest technological standards in the industry, to ensure the quality and sustainability of hydrological resources in the Tu葯nad area.

Mihai Neagu, CEO, points out: 鈥淓nsuring operational and technological performance was one of our priorities. This strategy allowed us to consolidate our distribution and modernize all levels of the business. Thus, we managed to take Apemin Tu葯nad to a new stage of development and reach as many consumers as possible who are looking for an authentic natural mineral water 鈥 a result due equally to our partners and team.鈥

In 2025, Apemin Tu葯nad started a new investment project of 250,000 euros (of which 184,000 euros come from European funds) for the installation of a 400 kW photovoltaic system, located on an area of 鈥嬧3,200 sqm. The energy produced will cover 16 percent of the annual consumption of the location, reducing CO鈧 emissions by approximately 285 tons per year.

The company will continue to focus on optimizing existing bottling processes and expanding storage capacities for finished products. Investments in new bottling lines with high-performance technology will follow, for the sustainable use of natural mineral water resources and the preservation of the natural hydrological perimeter of Tu葯nad.
