The Tema High Court has dismissed an application by former festish priestess now turned evangelist, Nana Agradaa to throw out a GH₵20 million defamation suit filed by gospel musician, Empress Gifty.
In a ruling on Thursday, June 26, 2025, the court held that Agradaa had a case to answer and ordered her to pay GH₵6,000 in costs to the singer.
The lawsuit follows accusations by the self-acclaimed televangelist that Empress Gifty was involved in multiple affairs to fund her lavish lifestyle.
With the dismissal application out of the way, the main case will now proceed in the coming weeks.
