A recent video of BTS member Kim Namjoon aka RM has caught the attention of both fans and anti-fans. RM, who recently completed his mandatory military service took off to Switzerland for a brand related commitment. While his Swiss trip appeared to be highly rejuvinating and detoxing after the gruelling military tenure, a video that surfaced recently has alerted ARMYs. The clip allegedly shows the BTS leader smoking. He even posted a series of photos from his first overseas travel post the military discharge. From wining to enjoying the nature, RM’s trip is anything one would ask for. However the particular clip that started doing the rounds of social media recently, left ARMYs concerned. RM has in the past addressed his smoking habit, and hence, it wasn’t a surprise for his fans when the viral video surfaced. Concerned ARMYs post reactions Many reacted to the video on X (formerly Twitter), calling it invasion of privacy. One fan wrote, “Ok next… Smoking, eating, sleeping. All humans do that stuff. So what.” Another one defended, “this is how i know army don’t actually gaf abt “protecting bts’ privacy” bc this has +55K likes but if someone tweets “OMG KM WERE FEEDING DUCKS” w/o pics they get reported for “invading their privacy”. yall only moral police ppl when its smth you’d rather go abt ur day wo seeing.” An ARMY commented, “I find it weird tht ppl are ok with spreading stalker content or vids the boys don’t know are being taken just bc you’re h*rny for them smoking cigs.” Jungkook, Jimin under privacy attack too Even as RM’s alleged smoking video worried fans, something about Jimin and Jungkook also became a subject of worry. The duo, who also seem to be in Europe, as suggested by their recent social media posts, first left netizens excited of a possible return Are You Sure?, their pre-enlistment travel series that received a lot of viewers’ love. Many pointed out that with all three members reportedly in Europe, their might be a second season in the works with RM joining Jimin and Jungkook this time. With growing concerns that overzealous fans are going out of hand and not letting the idols have their time, has triggered anger over infringement of personal space. Soon after his military discharge, Jungkook was tracked by a Chinese fan who reached his Yongsan apartment and reportedly waited over 11 hours, even trying random passcodes to enter the house. The 30-something woman was later arrested.
