The business has achieved the Cyber Essentials certification after several months of audits and testing.
The certification demonstrates that Anochrome Technologies鈥 systems, processes and security controls meet the stringent standards required to guard against the most prevalent forms of cyberattack.
It also makes Anochrome Technologies more attractive to businesses and manufacturers within the defence sector.
Steve Norman, Anochrome Group UK Divisional Director, said: 鈥淲e are delighted to achieve this nationally-recognised accreditation, which offers our customers additional confidence in our systems and demonstrates our commitment to data security. Cybersecurity is a critical component of our operations and the responsibilities we have to our clients.
鈥淭he accreditation also strengthens our position in some sectors including defence, which is an area where we are seeing growing demand for our services.
鈥淎chieving this sought-after certification, alongside our extensive list of existing accreditations, is a real feather in the cap for everyone associated with Anochrome Techologies.鈥
The National Cyber Security Centre says there were 7.7 million cybercrimes experienced by businesses in the UK over the past year – accounting for around half of all companies.
The accreditation process concluded with a remote test of Anochrome Technologies鈥 computer and data systems.
The business will be periodically audited to ensure it continues to adhere to the required standards of cybersecurity.
Steve added: 鈥淎s we continue to invest in our digital infrastructure and operational excellence, this milestone supports our long-term goals for robust IT governance, regulatory compliance and client trust.鈥
