Chuck Schumer, a Democratic senator and Minority Leader, was hospitalized early Wednesday morning for dehydration. He felt lightheaded while working out at the gym, which caused the hospital visit, as per the report by Daily Beast. The hospital visit was 鈥渙ut of an abundance of caution,鈥 meaning it was just to be safe. After treatment at the hospital, Schumer returned to work at the Capitol the same day. Washington was very hot, around 95 degrees, when this happened.
