Gorka Marquez has said he’s “proud” of his fiancée Gemma Atkinson as she shared a major update on her solo venture, which comes after she teased she’ll be working with her other half. The Hits Radio host previously confirmed the official launch of her own beauty brand in a move away from entertainment and her much-loved fitness. Gemma, 40, made the original announcement in early 2024 and later rebranded her new company from Lil’ Gems to Gem & Tonic. It was then earlier this month that Bury-born Gemma was seen getting back in front of the camera as she took part in a photoshoot for her new venture. She shared a number of pictures and videos to Instagram as she got to work in Manchester City Centre with her glam squad and fellow models. It was then on Friday (June 13) that the former Emmerdale and Hollyoaks star shared a fresh update as she confirmed the photoshoot was for Gem & Tonic’s official launch this September. As the release date draws closer, Gemma is continuing to keep her fans and followers update and shared a new video to Instagram which told fans everything they need to know about Gem & Tonic. Alongside the clip, she wrote to her millions of followers: “The how and the why of my brand @gemandtonicofficial. ‘Busy women want better beauty products’. “We don’t have time for a 9 step routine. We want the results without the faff and we want it on a budget we can all get on board with. “Every product combines scientifically proven ingredients with mineral rich gemstones. We’re working with Mother Nature not against her, and together we’re empowering women to feel their best and embrace aging. Thank you to the 55 thousand women who so far have joined our community. We’ve so much more to come and so many more products in development!” She added: “Launching officially in September keep an eye on @gemandtonicofficial for what’s to come… #crueltyfree.” Strictly Come Dancing star Gorka was quick to respond, as he wrote in the comments section: “Proud of you [heart emoji].” His co-stars also showed their support. Johannes Radebe commented: “Go on Gem.” Karen Hauer said: “Amazing!! Love your hair as well.” Jowita Przystal shared: “Congratulations x.” Fleur East said: “I LOVE this hair colour on you!! Gorgeous.” Former Big Brother star Aisleyne Horgan Wallace also posted: “Amazing!!! Well done girl can’t wait to buy it.” It comes after Gemma seemingly teased she and Gorka, who met while on Strictly in 2027, are working on a joint project. She posted a picture of herself and Gorka, who share two children together, on Instagram last week as they took part in a photoshoot together , adding a GIF which said: “Loading…” and another which said: “What is this????”
