He explained that his journey towards fitness began during the filming of Saala Khadoos in 2016. During that time, he consulted various dieticians but struggled to find a method that resonated with him. Ultimately, he adopted a straightforward philosophy – ‘Input is equal to output. Stop eating, and you鈥檒l get slim.’ This advice led him to focus on intuitive eating, consuming food only when genuinely hungry. Therefore, at the trailer launch of Aap Jaisa Koi, Madhavan opened up about his secret. He said, “They鈥檝e all been accusing me of de-ageing, but I don鈥檛 think I have the budget for that. It hasn鈥檛 happened.” He added, “When I went to train for Saala Khadoos, I consulted numerous dieticians and several people who advised me on how to lose weight and get fit, what diet to follow, what time to eat, and so on… but I couldn’t find anyone I truly resonated with.” “Then I met an old timer, jaise hote hai na Akhara me (like the ones we see in an Akhara)…I told him I really want to look like a boxer. Tell me what kind of diet I should take. He said input is equal to output. Khaana band karo patle ho jaoge. (Stop eating.
