“We give John Cena a 7/7 for understanding the assignment. #Colbert #BTS #BTSARMY,” the video’s caption read. Fans appeared to be the happiest, as many could resonate with John Cena’s love for the K-pop band. One wrote, “And ARMY loves John Cena,” while another added, “Who would’ve thought the man I grew up watching throw invisible punches would one day be on my side of the fandom, vibing to BTS? From ‘U Can’t See Me’ to ‘I see you, ARMY’ — John Cena really grew with us.”

It is worth mentioning that John Cena appeared on Tuesday’s Late Show with Stephen Colbert for the promotion of his film, Heads of State. This was just another moment showcasing Cena’s strong love for the band. Recently, at the 2025 Fan Expo Dallas, the actor spoke about feeling a personal connection to BTS. While calling J-Hope “my guy,” Cena shared how the band’s music on self-love has connected with him, especially during a difficult phase of his life.
JOHN CENA mentioned #JHOPE and #BTS
“They look so beautiful. What I love is people who look and act like they have it all, being open with their emotions, in telling other people to start practising self-love. And that hit me at a time in my life when I needed to practice some self-love. So we hit it off on a personal level, and since then we have connected. We have shot videos,” he said at the time.
Needless to say, the video left BTS fans melting and gaga over the WWE star.
