Hyderabad Traffic Advisory Issued For Golconda Bonalu: Dates, Diversion And Parking Areas Inside

Hyderabad News: for the Golconda Bonalu Festival in 2025. Bonalu is a major Hindu festival, and many people (devotees) are expected to visit the temple at Golconda Fort. The special traffic and parking rules will be in place from 8 a.m. until 11 p.m. on nine different days in June and July 2025. Event Dates and Times: The advisory is for the period from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. on the following dates: June 26 and 29, July 3, 6, 10, 13, 17, 20 and 24. Which roads will be busy? To avoid getting stuck in traffic, commuters are advised to avoid these three routes leading to Golconda Fort on the festival dates: The road from Ramdevguda via Makkai Darwaza. The road from Langar Houz via Fateh Darwaza. The road from Shaikpet and Seven Tombs via Banjara Darwaza. Where can visitors park? Commuters, who are driving to the festival, must park in the designated areas and then walk to the fort. The parking is organised based on where you are coming from: If coming from Ramdevguda: Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park between Ashoor Khana and the Army Sentry Post. Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Artillery Centre or Ashoorkhana. Buses: Setwin buses can only go as far as the Ashoor Khana car park. If coming from Langar Houz: Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park at MCH Park or Alihira School. Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Golconda Bus Stop or the Area Hospital. If coming from Shaikpet: Motorbikes (Two-wheelers): Park at Owaisi Ground or on the Golf Club Road side lane. Cars (Four-wheelers): Park at the Hockey Ground or Deccan Park at the Seven Tombs.
