Paramvir Singh Cheema is becoming one of the most sought-after names on Indian OTT. As he gears up to make his Bollywood debut with Border 2, the actor spoke to Zoom exclusively and discussed the Sikh representation in cinema over the years. Cheema agreed that there has been a significant change, but there鈥檚 still a long way to go. Paramvir Singh Cheema lauds progress in Sikh representation in cinema Paramvir told us, 鈥淭he representation of Sikh characters has definitely improved in Indian cinema. The greatest examples of apt representation are Suvinder Vicky in Kohrra and Pawan Malhotra in Tabbar. After a long time, Sikh characters are not used only for comic relief. On OTT, he has worked in series including Tabbar, Chamak and Sapne vs Everyone. He is currently busy with Border 2 co-starring Sunny Deol, Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, Ahan Shetty and Sonam Bajwa. The film releases on Republic Day 2026. The second season of Black Warrant has been announced.
