A man was rushed to hospital after a hit-and-run incident erupted into a violent rammy, involving three vehicles, a pedestrian and a saw. Cops were called to Ashgill Road in the north of Glasgow at around 6.55pm on Monday, June 23, following reports of a targeted hit-and-run involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian. Horrified locals looked on as chaos unfolded on the street where a woman was slapped with a saw. The 22-year-old was reportedly struck by a car and later taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. His condition is not currently known. One eyewitness described the moment the incident spiralled out of control in what police now believe to be a “targeted” attack. “There were two cars speeding down Ashgill Road, one coming up and one going down, it looked like they were deliberately trying to ram each other,” the resident told the Daily Record. “They smashed into each other and also hit my flatmate鈥檚 car.” The witness added: “I was in the back garden and ran out. Another car was on the corner of Ashgill Place and the other two cars were in the middle of Ashgill Road. “There were two men who got out one of the cars and another girl who was driving a different car got out. It seemed as if they knew one another. “I then saw one of the men slap the girl with a saw. She was shouting, 鈥楬e鈥檚 just hit me with a saw’. The car that had reversed up Ashgill Place then quickly drove away.” Police launched a probe and after carrying out investigations said they believe it was a “targeted incident”. The force added they do not believe there is any wider threat to the public. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around the incident. Police said they will keep a presence in the area following the attack. This latest incident comes two months after a home on Ashgill Road was firebombed as part of targeted attacks on several properties during the same night. The horrific attack was linked to the gang war that spread from Edinburgh to Glasgow. A terrifying video uploaded to social media showed firebombings on various properties in the city on April 7 – with three homes being targeted in the early hours. Properties on Glasgow’s Gala Street as well as Meadow Court in Stepps, North Lanarkshire, were allegedly also torched in the early hours of April 7. In the footage, masked assailants could be seen dousing the front door of a home with accelerant. Another clip showed flaming projectiles being thrown into windows at a property. The faceless and frightening mob have been waging war on the Daniel and Richardson crime clans on behalf of Dubai-based kingpin Ross McGill. The video included the gang鈥檚 now signature insignia featuring a fanged skull painted with a saltire and the words 鈥淭MJ 2025鈥. McGill has been waging war on Mark Richardson’s crime mob from Edinburgh and the Daniel clan from Glasgow since March after he was ripped off in a 拢500,000 cocaine deal when the buyer used fake bank notes. Police Scotland said there is nothing to suggest the hit-and-run incident is anything to do with the current turf war taking place across the country. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 6.55pm on Monday, June 23, 2025, we received a report of a disturbance involving three vehicles and a male pedestrian on Ashgill Road, Glasgow. The 22-year-old male pedestrian was struck by a car and taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment. “From investigations so far, this is believed to be a targeted incident and there is no wider threat to the public. Extensive enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances and a police presence will remain in the area. “Anyone with any concerns, or information, can approach these officers.
