THE 12th Ondangwa Trade and Industrial Exhibition is poised to commence this Friday, promising a significant platform for economic promotion and business networking in the northern region.
According to Ondangwa Town spokesperson Petrina Shitalangaho-Mutikisha, the exhibition will run until 5 July 2025 at the Ondangwa Trade and Exhibition Centre.
This year鈥檚 event is themed 鈥淏uilding Resilient Industries through Innovation and Smart Partnerships.鈥
Shitalangaho-Mutikisha highlighted the exhibition鈥檚 growth over the years, noting its crucial role in fostering economic development. In 2024, the event successfully hosted over 270 exhibitors from diverse sectors including manufacturing, agriculture, retail, SMEs, and government institutions.
鈥淭he Council anticipates an even greater number of exhibitors this year, reflecting continued confidence in the event鈥檚 capacity to drive regional economic growth and innovation,鈥 she said.
She added that attendees can look forward to a vibrant exhibition featuring cultural showcases, entertainment, and interactive displays 鈥 solidifying its status as both an economic and social highlight on the regional calendar.
Shitalangaho-Mutikisha emphasized that the trade fair offers businesses a vital opportunity to market their products and services, forge strategic partnerships, and engage with thousands of potential visitors.
The official opening ceremony is scheduled for next Tuesday and will be officiated by the Minister of Urban and Rural Development, Sankwasa James Sankwasa.
