Leading budget hotel chain Travelodge has partnered with travel technology platform Katanox to give Travel Management Companies (TMCs) better access to the hotel brand鈥檚 47,000+ rooms across more than 600 hotels in the UK, Ireland and Spain.
Katanox鈥檚 integration allows TMCs to amend bookings directly for the first time, including changing dates. The connectivity also enables Travelodge to display more rooms and rates, showcasing richer content with visuals and descriptions, giving TMCs increased options and visibility. The platform will also widen Travelodge鈥檚 distribution options meaning the hotel chain can connect with many more TMCs and therefore corporate clients.
The partnership integrates Travelodge鈥檚 back-end payment, booking and connectivity functions, creating a smoother booking experience for TMC users booking Travelodge rooms.
UK-based travel management platform Navan is the first TMC to gain access to Travelodge content via the new integration with Katanox, benefiting from new rate plans, amendable bookings, and other improvements to Travelodge content for its customers.
