The State Board of Technical Education and Training is set to commence the registration process for the Telangana Polytechnic Common Entrance Test (TS POLYCET) 2025 counselling today, June 24. Candidates who cleared the exam can apply for the counselling registration by visiting the official website, tgpolycet.nic.in. The last date to apply for the TS POLYCET counselling registration process is June 28.
According to the schedule, the certificate verification for slot booked candidates will be held between June 26 and 29. The exercising of options after certificate verification can be done by July 1. The provisional allotment result will be out by July 4. Candidates will have to complete the online self-reporting and fee payment between July 4 and 6.
TS POLYCET Counselling Phase 1 2025: Documents Required
The following set of documents will be needed for verification from the candidates.
— Student rank card and hall pass.
— SSC or equivalent exam results.
— Birth certificate.
— Community certificate.
— Relevant certificates from previous qualifying examinations, and, if they are not from one of the university’s areas, any relevant certificates.
— Any conduct certificate from the last institution that the student attended.
— Fitness certificate.
— Minority certificate.
— Income certificate.
— Other relevant certificates.
TS POLYCET Counselling Process Details
General category candidates who secure a minimum of 30 per cent or 36 out of 120 marks will be eligible for counselling, while SC and ST candidates have no minimum percentage.
Students will need to go through three rounds of counselling procedures: Phase 1, Phase 2, and a spot round. The Telangana Board conducts the counselling procedure to schedule specific times for certificate verification, fee payment, and submitting basic information online.
General category candidates must pay Rs 600, while those in the Scheduled Tribe (ST) and Scheduled Caste (SC) categories must pay Rs 300 as the counselling fee.
While the exam was held on May 13, the result was declared on May 25. Eligibility for the exam requires candidates to have passed the SSC or its equivalent, recognised by the TS Board.
