Wall of Shame: Gujarat officials trap rescue vehicles behind their own wall after Vadodara bridge collapses

Following the Mujpur-Gambhira bridge collapse in Vadodara, officials built a brick barrier to prevent accidents. Ironically, the barrier trapped rescue vehicles. The bridge collapsed on July 9, resulting in 20 deaths. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel approved a new two-lane bridge project costing Rs 212 crore. The new bridge aims to restore connectivity between central Gujarat and Saurashtra within 18 months.
