Defence Minister Rajnath Singh lauded Shubhanshu Shukla, the first Indian astronaut to visit the International Space Station, for elevating India’s space aspirations. Shukla’s return aboard the Dragon ‘Grace’ spacecraft after a 20-day mission sparked celebrations across India. The IAF hailed Shukla’s achievement, marking a significant milestone as he becomes the second Indian in space, following Rakesh Sharma’s 1984 flight.
